Summer Student Pass Program
Attend events, get to work, stay connected and save
This summer, COTA is helping students connect to libraries, summer camps, sporting events, summer jobs, internships and each other.
How it Works
COTA’s easy, safe and affordable Summer Student Pass Program gives eligible students ages 5 and older unlimited access to COTA’s transit services, including fixed route, COTA//Plus and Mainstream services. All Central Ohio students in grades K-12 and those attending local universities can participate.
The Summer Student Pass Program runs June 1 to Sept. 15, 2022, and costs only $62 for the entire summer — a savings of more than $150.
To use your smartphone to pay fares, download the Transit app and visit COTA’s Customer Experience Center at 33 N. High St.
Get Started
To enroll, students must bring their valid student I.D. or proof of enrollment to COTA’s Customer Experience Center (CEC), located at 33 N. High St. Members of Team COTA will enroll you in the Summer Student Pass Program via the Transit app (or a COTA Smartcard for those who do not have a smartphone).
If riding COTA//Plus, CEC representatives will provide students with a code, COTASSP, to activate the summer pass. If riding COTA Mainstream, certain eligibility requirements apply.
