Service changes may include modifications to frequency, schedules, trip times, routing or stop locations. COTA modifies service three times per year on the first Monday of January, May and September.

ROUTE CHANGES

The following service recommendations would go into effect on May 1, 2023. Select a line in the dropdown to learn more about how the changes may impact your travel. If your route is not listed, the current service will remain.

1 Kenny/Livingston

Weekend service reduction

On Saturday, COTA is proposing Line 1 to run every 20 minutes between Riverside Hospital and Reynoldsburg Park & Ride & every 40 minutes between Riverside Hospital and Carriage Place Shopping Center.

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 1 to run every 30 minutes between Carriage Place Shopping Center and Reynoldsburg Park & Ride. Buses would lineup in downtown Columbus every 30 minutes to assist transferring passengers.

2 E Main/N High

Weekend service reduction

On Saturday, COTA is proposing Line 2 to run every 20 minutes between Westview Turnaround and Great Eastern Shopping Center & every 40 minutes between Great Eastern and Main & Hanson.

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 2 to run every 30 minutes between Westview Turnaround and Reynoldsburg Park & Ride. Buses would lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every 30 minutes giving riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

3 Northwest/Harrisburg

All-day lineups on Sunday

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 3 lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every hour to give riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

4 Indianola/Lockbourne

All-day lineups on Sunday

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 4 lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every hour to give riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

5 W 5th Ave/Refugee

All-day lineups on Sunday & minor scheduling adjustments

COTA is proposing weekday scheduling adjustments to maintain on-time performance.

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 5 lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every 30 minutes to give riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

6 Sullivant

7 Mt Vernon

8 Karl/S High/Parsons

Weekday & weekend service reductions

COTA is proposing Line 8 run every 20 minutes between Boardwalk St & Shapter Ave and downtown Columbus & every 40 minutes along S High Street and Parsons Ave to the Great Southern Shopping Center Monday through Saturday.

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 8 run every 30 minutes between Boardwalk St & Shapter Ave and downtown Columbus & every hour along S High Street and Parsons Ave to the Great Southern Shopping Center. Buses would lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every 30 minutes giving riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

9 W Mound/Brentnell

All-day lineups on Sunday

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 9 lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every hour to give riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

10 E Broad/W Broad

Weekend service reduction

On Saturday, COTA is proposing Line 10 run every 20 minutes between Westwoods Park & Ride and Mt Carmel East Hospital and every 40 minutes between Mt Carmel East Hospital and Limited Brands.

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 10 run every 30 minutes between Westwoods Park & Ride and Limited Brands. Buses would lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every 30 minutes giving riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

11 Bryden/Maize

All-day lineups on Sunday

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 11 lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every hour to give riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

12 McKinley/Fields

Weekend routing change

On Saturday and Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 12 operate between the Fields Operations Center and downtown Columbus only. Weekday service would remain as is.

22 OSU-Rickenbacker

Frequency adjustment

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 22 operate every 30 minutes. Weekday and Saturday service would remain as is.

41 Crosswoods-Polaris

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 41 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #4085 located near the intersection of High Street & Rich Street instead.

42 Sharon Woods

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 42 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #4085 located near the intersection of High Street & Rich Street instead.

43 Westerville

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 43 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #4085 located near the intersection of High Street & Rich Street instead.

44 Easton

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 44 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #4085 located near the intersection of High Street & Rich Street instead.

45 New Albany

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 45 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #4085 located near the intersection of High Street & Rich Street instead.

46 Gahanna

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 46 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #4085 located near the intersection of High Street & Rich Street instead.

61 Grove City

Weekday routing change

In order to speed up trips for passengers, COTA is proposing Line 61 stay on Stringtown Rd in both directions. Travel on Gantz Rd would be discontinued. Passengers would use COTA//Plus Grove City for travel into the Southpark Industrial Complex.

71 Hilliard

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 71 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #1644 located on Main Street directly behind the Transit Terminal instead.

72 Tuttle

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 72 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #1644 located on Main Street directly behind the Transit Terminal instead.

73 Dublin

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 73 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #1644 located on Main Street directly behind the Transit Terminal instead.

74 Smoky Row

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 74 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #1644 located on Main Street directly behind the Transit Terminal instead.

75 Arlington/1st Ave

New end-of-line in downtown Columbus

COTA is proposing Line 75 no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #1644 located on Main Street directly behind the Transit Terminal instead.

102 N High/Polaris Pkwy

All-day lineups on Sunday & new end-of-line in downtown Columbus

On Sunday, COTA is proposing Line 102 lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every hour to give riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

Line 102 would no longer use the COTA Transit Terminal located on Rich Street. Passengers would use stop #4085 located near the intersection of High Street & Rich Street instead.

CMAX

Weekend service reduction & minor scheduling adjustments

COTA is proposing weekday scheduling adjustments to maintain on-time performance.

On Saturday, COTA is proposing CMAX run every 20 minutes between downtown Columbus and Northland Transit Center and every 40 minutes between Northland Transit Center and Westerville.

On Sunday, COTA is proposing CMAX run every 30 minutes between downtown Columbus and Westerville. Buses would lineup near Spring Street Transit Terminal in downtown Columbus every 30 minutes giving riders a chance to easily transfer between lines.

Staff is reviewing stop spacing on Cleveland Avenue.

Zoo Bus

Seasonal Zoo service to begin May 2023!

Zoo Bus service would begin May 6 operating on weekends until Memorial Day, May 29. Beginning Monday, May 29 and through Labor Day, Sept 4 Zoo Bus would operate Monday through Friday.
