Unlimited Rides for OSU Students
Any semester, Ohio State students who stay in Columbus, but don’t take classes, can purchase a COTA opt-in pass. The opt-in pass is good for unlimited rides for the duration of the term. Students qualify for this pass one term per the calendar year as long as they were enrolled in the previous academic term.
Students must purchase their opt-in passes at Pass Sales at 33 N.High St., Columbus., OH 43215 for $62 per pass. Passes go on sale in late March for Maymester/Summer term 2016, and are good for the entire duration of summer terms.
Students must bring their BuckID and be enrolled in the previous semester to qualify. COTA will use enrollment data provided by The Ohio State University to determine qualification.
*Student IDs that are swiped prior to paying the fee are put on an inactive list and will experience a two business day delay in activation as a result of re-validating the ID.
