COTA to Restore Morning and Evening Express Service Starting May 3; Zoo Bus Also Returns This Summer
The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) will launch new service on Monday, May 3, restoring 14 express lines as commuters begin to return to the workplace.
The following transit lines are returning:
13 Arlington/ 1st Ave
41 Crosswoods/Polaris
42 Sharon Woods
43 Westerville
44 Easton
45 New Albany
46 Gahanna
51 Reynoldsburg
52 Canal Winchester
61 Grove City
71 Hilliard
72 Tuttle
73 Dublin
74 Smoky Row
COTA is also announcing the return of Zoo Bus this summer. Zoo Bus is a popular summer transit service at COTA and an easy way to travel between downtown Columbus and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Zoombezi Bay. Service begins Saturday, May 8 and will continue every weekend in May. Beginning Memorial Day, Zoo Bus will run daily through Labor Day.
COTA makes improvements to its service three times a year, on the first Monday of January, May and September. Improvements include schedule adjustments to improve travel times, new and modified service, as well as construction-related route changes.
